How to Measure Your Head for a Human Hair Wigs?

Head size has very little to do with the overall size of a person. It is best not to make any assumptions about fit, and to take measurements. To measure your head, find a flexible seamstress measuring tape. Start at your forehead, just above your eyebrows; proceed toward one side of your head, following the hairline. When you reach the ear area, take the tape behind the ears. Follow the tape all the way around the head, meeting up at your forehead in the front. When you have that measurement, this is your head circumference.To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline.

 Your wig should fit comfortably with your natural hairline, which is a few inches above your eyebrows. The back of the wig is to come down to the nape on the back of your neck. Studies show that 95% of the population wears an average or medium wig cap size.
